The more we dive into filming Healthy In The Garden State, the more we learn of the immense amount of resources available to New Jersey residents when it comes to health. From places to people to businesses,  has plenty of ways to support healthy living… And we want to do everything we can to get the word out about it all!

So, with Healthy In The Garden State episodes coming to you once a month, we said, ‘What else can we do?!’ That brings us to this ‘miniseries’ of actionable, informative interviews with health experts from around the state, all in 15(ish) minutes or less: ‘A Dose of Health’.

This conversation then dives into women’s hormone health, including common and less commonly discussed symptoms of hormonal changes, why hormone health is about more than simply managing symptoms, and the questions many women have about hormone therapy and bioidentical hormones.

Known as The Hormone Gal, Jari Becker, RPh is a licensed pharmacist with more than 30 years of experience, a passionate advocate for women’s health, and Director of Women’s Health at Town & Country Compounding.

Stress urinary incontinence is common – but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a normal part of aging. In this episode of A Dose of Health, host Kate Cherichello Tente sits down with Dr. Siobhan Hartigan, Director of Reconstructive Urology and Pelvic Health at Hunterdon Medical Center, to talk about women’s urinary and pelvic health.
